I am retired from May 1st, 2021 at Eirik Fiva Consult.

From 2012 to 2021, I was the director of international office at Nordland County Council. I was previously the director of Landsdelsutvalget of Northern Norway and North Trøndelag (2003 - 2012).

I have previously taught political science, philosophy, and communication management at Nord University.
